Beaverdam

The Beaverdam area is located about 4 miles north of downtown Asheville while the small town of Woodfin is only a couple miles away. You’ll feel tucked away amidst the pastoral serenity while being close to all the amenities Asheville offers. The area was one of the first to be settled in Buncombe County and was oriented towards Beaverdam Creek. The Beaverdam valley is comprised of gently rolling hills that butt up against ridges in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The typical architecture of the Beaverdam area include mid-century ranchers, more contemporary homes, and GreenBuilt homes. Historical farmhouses and some older log cabins can be found, adding to the historical significance of the area.
